Our review of the Sunbeam 2371 MixMaster Stand Mixer put this stand mixer through its paces. Let’s take a look at some of the best features of the Sunbeam 2371 MixMaster Stand Mixer…
Power and Precision:
The Sunbeam 2371 MixMaster Stand Mixer promises to deliver an excellent performance through its powerful 350-watt motor, providing a burst-of-power function for a more intensive blending of ingredients that remains consistent at any speed. Its 12-speed settings also adapt to precisely mixing ingredients to perfection,
Built For Ease of Use:
Its tilt-locking head is provided for easy bowl access and has a button for simple attachment removal. It also comes with an ergonomically designed soft-grip handle for maximum comfort at any speed. And finally, the Sunbeam 2371 MixMaster Stand Mixer also uses an off-center bowl, making it easier to add ingredients and to reduce scraping.
Functional and Effective:
Using its Soft-Start technology, the Sunbeam 2371 MixMaster Stand Mixer minimizes unnecessary splatter and dirty floors by gently accelerating to the selected speed during start-up. Its non-skid rubber feet also ensures stability when in use, while its simple, one-button attachment removal makes the job at hand much more manageable.
The Sunbeam 2371 MixMaster Stand Mixer puts up a good entry into the best stand mixers of this year. However, they manage to get things wrong in some ways — and it’s very noticeable. Unfortunately, the product dies after only a couple of uses and even gave up kneading after only 3 minutes. For a product that does so well on the job it’s supposed to do, it doesn’t have much to offer in the stamina area.
Another issue it suffers is how the beaters don’t adequately pick up all the food from the bottom of the bowls. This is another failure where the product doesn’t deliver on its promise since the user will have to scrape the bottom of the bowl with a spatula continually This is especially troublesome since these bowls are more in-depth than previous editions of this mixer, which means that you’ll need to reach deeper every time you need to scrape.
