The Bad
Giving an excellent performance is what the Ninja Hot and Cold Brew System aim for. However, even with its advanced technology and versatile features, it can’t avoid the usual coffee maker pitfalls. Like other brands that delivered before it, Ninja has made critical design flaws that stop it from perfecting a cup of coffee. First, the machine tends to produce smoke and causes the plastic to burn even smarter following the Owner’s Manual.
Another design flaw is how it leaks water from the bottom and spreads throughout the counter. Whenever it makes such a mess, a massive clean up is needed before you can even start brewing your coffee in the morning. Even after returning it and getting a new machine, only a month after and the same thing happens again. It is at this point that you begin to doubt the quality of this product because it’s not just a one-time occurrence.
The Bottom Line
The Ninja Hot and Cold Brew – CP301 offers a promising machine capable of serving both coffee and tea, anyway we like it. But after a few weeks of making the perfect cups, the machine suddenly takes a turn for the worse and stops providing the coffee we so badly need in our mornings. It’s a real shame because this coffee maker is one that we could all easily fall in love with, but its design errors are too much to ignore.
For the price of $160, many customers would be disappointed with the problems that plague the Ninja Hot and Cold Brew – CP301. However, if you never encounter problems with your machine, then you can treat yourself to gourmet coffee every day without having to wait in long lines or paying more than you have to. Just stay and relax at home, and enjoy a perfectly brewed coffee or tea — exactly how you like it.
