The Bad
At first, the Mpow 059 Bluetooth Headphone seemed to deliver reliable and robust performance. However, they are also prone to suddenly stop charging and dying prematurely, when it’s supposed to have at least half of the battery still intact. It also fails to display a red light indicator whenever it is being changed, even if it’s connected to different chargers on multiple outlets.
It also shows weaknesses in it’s in its quality, suffering from the one-side defect where only one side works after only four months. It may be due to the wires used in the product since wiring tape to one side seems to keep the sound stable whenever the music drops in and out. However, even after having them replaced, the new pair has the same problems, which doesn’t solve the issues at all.
The Bottom Line
While it starts with exceptional performance, the Mpow 059 Bluetooth Headphone isn’t able to hide its flaws, especially with extended use. Under its seemingly perfect design, the cracks start to show only after a few months and can start going downhill from there. However, for its small price of $35 compared to other models, it is one of the best headphones within its price range.
