The Bad
Even with great features and an affordable price, the Intex Comfort Plush Elevated Air Mattress has flaws that keep it below average in terms of its performance. After having it for two months and using it three times, it could no longer support weight; even a small child was enough to release the air from it. This may be due to a hole in the air mattress or could be the result of a faulty product.
Another problem it encounters is the low capacity it has for retaining the air inside. Unfortunately, it would lose air every hour of use, and we would wake up to pump it full of air again. One more air mattress later, and the same thing happened again. Now, we are stuck with two defective products that should never have left the shelf in the first place.
The Bottom Line
In the end, the Intex Comfort Plush Elevated Air Mattress delivers a better experience than expected for an air mattress for its price of $50. However, it did not deliver on our needs for durability, and we pay the consequences since it doesn’t come with a warranty.
But overall, for the price that it asks for, it was able to provide favorable results on the areas it promised; comfort, convenience, and capacity. Should Intex decide to make improvements to this air mattress and release a better model, then perhaps it can take the top spot towards becoming the perfect air mattress.
