The Dyson Ball Vacuum can provide thorough cleaning without a doubt, but it comes short when it comes to specific carpeting and doesn’t always produce consistent results. It is frustrating that for the high price of $500, it can’t clean medium pile carpets very thoroughly, and it tends to get stuck onto the carpet. Not only is this inconvenient, but at this point, it is also useless as it can barely move. This is a big problem since the vacuum can be used on all types of carpet, which is such a disappointment considering its price point.
Another problem that comes with the Dyson Ball Vacuum is that it releases hot air instead of a lukewarm heat. It can get so hit at times that it can burn your toes as you vacuum around your home — not a pleasant experience at all. If this ever happens to you, the only choice would be to send it to the manufacturer for repairs and call-in customer service to further assist with the problem.
The Bottom Line
To sum up, the Dyson Ball Vacuum can deliver a fantastic quality when it comes to cleaning our homes and is an excellent addition to our cleaning tools. But we can’t give this Vacuum the perfect grade due to lack of development by the manufacturer, which stops it from performing it’s best when it comes to certain types of carpets.
However, because of it’s excellent additional tools and its strong performance on most other surfaces, along with its effective HEPA filtration system, the Dyson Ball Vacuum is worth the price tag that comes with it. It’s not too late for Dyson to fix their mistakes in this iteration, should the next model improve upon the few complaints we have, then this vacuum has a lot of potential and can be the perfect home cleaner it was designed to be.
