The Bad
Even with all its features and stylish charm, the Cuisinart DCC-3200 wasn’t developed long enough to avoid incurring mistakes in its units. Unfortunately, this model, in particular, doesn’t deliver the usual traits we are used to seeing in a Cuisinart product. It is plagued by many system errors that aren’t easy to forgive, the first being its faulty filter which overflows without warning. This leads to the grounds spilling all over your kitchen bench, and then to unwanted cleaning.
And it also encounters problems with water leaking out of the bottom of it and ruining your counter, which is another big concern that seems to happen out of nowhere. To make matters worse, it also has buttons that glitch, rendering the product useless after being used for a few months. Of course, at this point, you’ll have to send it back to the manufacturer but shipping it back to them comes at a price, and you need to cop that.
The Bottom Line
What was once known to be a world-leading brand when it comes to kitchen tools and devices have been taken down a notch thanks to some defective or malfunctioning appliances. And while the Cuisinart DCC-3200 puts on a good show, there is no hiding its flaws which are quite unforgivable. Adding fuel to the fire is Cuisinart’s customer service, which fails to address the concerns put forward by its customers, which significantly impacts the overall experience with this product.
On the bright side though, if you end up with one of the perfectly good units, then the Cuisinart DCC-3200 is not just a pretty looking coffee maker to decor your kitchen with, it is also a smart and functional solution to your coffee needs at home. With the DCC-3200, you can enjoy a perfect cup of joe in the morning without even stepping out of your home.
