Adjusting the amount of batter nor the heat seems to fix the problem, making this quite a big failure first the price that they charge their customers.
Another big miss for this product is how it prematurely breaks at a much earlier time than anyone could anticipate. After just six months of usage, the unit has broken down and also used to burn waffles at the lowest setting. It is a huge understatement to say that we are disappointed.
The Bottom Line
The Breville BWM520XL Round Waffle Maker gives us a terrific performance at it’s best, but a terrible one at its worst. Unfortunately, there is no in-between for this particular model, so it is a case of hit and miss for many of us. This comes as a big surprise because we all expected more from this kitchenware giant.
However, even with its flaws, it is clear to see that this waffle maker is still among the top performers available in the market today. And should Breville take steps towards improving this product for the next years to come, there can be no doubt that it will far surpass everything else that can be manufactured in the future.
