Other features to help you with the perfect cup of coffee are the Black+Decker DLX1050B’s Easy-View Water Window shows you the exact amount of water that will turn into coffee, and its Optimal Brewing Temperature allows the water to heat to the perfect brewing temperature for ideal flavor results.
Helpful Tools: The Black+Decker DLX1050B comes with a Removable Filter Basket to make cleanup easy with the dishwasher-safe brew basket, which is compatible with basket-style paper filters. The Bad
The Black+Decker DLX1050B has much to offer, but it also has a lot to improve. While it worked well during the first few times of use, unfortunately, it stopped working after two months. Without any warning, it just stopped working, which is a massive inconvenience for people who need their cup of coffee before heading off to work.
Another issue with the Black+Decker DLX1050B is that the filter basket doesn’t allow water to come out fast. This flaw causes the filter to overflow whenever it makes full pots, and it leads to an unsavory mess that needs cleaning. It’s also because of this problem that the machine never makes past 6 cups of coffee.
The Bottom Line
Black+Decker tried to provide us with the ultimate coffee experience with the Black+Decker DLX1050B but has instead given us a faulty product and charged us $25 for it. Perhaps if the manufacturers took more time to perfect the hardware on their coffee machine, then we could be reaping the benefits of drinking an excellent cup of coffee every day.
However, not everything about the Black+Decker DLX1050B is negative. Its array of useful and intelligent features are sure to make your day, as long as it keeps working at its best. And should you get your hands on a unit without any defects, you would be glad you gave this coffee maker a chance. In the end, the Black+Decker DLX1050B coffee maker can perform well, but with the issues that come with it, an average job is the best it can do for now.
