As with all of our editor reviews, we put Bay Alarm Medical through its paces, so you don’t have to waste your time or money. Let’s take a look at some of our favorite Bay Alarm Medical monitoring service benefits…
Automatic Fall Detection
Fall detection is available to add to any Bay Alarm Medical plan. The optimized button is intended to reduce the number of false alarms. It will trigger an automatic call if it detects a high-impact fall, giving you access to help even if you can’t reach the button.
With every Bay Alarm Medical plan, you have optional wall buttons. You can get as many as you need. With extra strength double-sided tape, you can stick them in any area where you don’t want to wear your pendant, like the shower. Place a wall button in a convenient location for help anytime.
Free Monitoring for Spouses
For just $2 extra for an additional help button, you can get free monitoring for a spouse on any plan. Where some services charge an extra monthly fee to monitor a second person, Bay Alarm Medical will cover both of you for the same low monthly price.
Even the plans designed for home use are portable. With Bay Alarm Medical, you can unplug your equipment and take it anywhere. Whether you’re going on vacation or visiting friends in another state, you’ll always have access to the help you need. Stay protected wherever you go!
We found that fall detection isn’t as sensitive with Bay Alarm Medical devices as it is with other companies. But to be honest, the fact that only high-impact falls are registered to be a better alternative to false alarms like you see so often with many of the other medical alert services currently on the market.
Bay Alarm Medical outsources their call center operations to a third party. When you call them, the representative you speak to is not directly employed by Bay Alarm Medical. However, all of their call centers are in the U.S., they are CSAA Five Diamond Certified, and they provide excellent call quality.
